About the role
- Design and development of IP cores for low-latency, high-throughput digital signal processing
- Simulation and verification of implemented algorithms using test vectors
- Integration of IP cores into an OFDM-based physical layer
- Debugging of implemented designs in a LiFi testbed with Time-Sensitive Networking
- Collaboration within the team to optimize system design for reliability and functionality
Requirements
- Full-time enrollment in a degree program in Technical Computer Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of or interest in digital signal processing and wireless communication systems (OFDM, MIMO, …)
- Experience with a hardware description language (VHDL or Verilog) or a low-level programming language (C, C++)
- Ideally, first experience with FPGAs (Xilinx Vivado, Zynq UltraScale+, …)
- Ability to work independently, willingness to learn, and strong interest in the subject matter
