About the role
- The aim of this master's thesis is to investigate whether, and to what extent, poses and facial expressions can be used to detect erotic and pornographic imagery
- First, research which existing approaches are suitable to address this question
- Identify gaps in existing datasets and models and close these gaps with your own data and models
- Based on the developed methods, evaluate whether reliable detection of erotic poses and facial expressions is possible
- Implement new approaches to classify poses and facial expressions, both in everyday situations and in erotic and pornographic contexts
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and training neural networks
- Good Python skills, preferably with initial experience in PyTorch
- Ideally, experience in computer vision and object detection/segmentation
- Motivation to independently familiarize yourself with new and current research topics
- Willingness to work with erotic or pornographic image material
- Interest in scientific research
