About the role
- Take responsibility for developing a model for classification and segmentation of various materials based on their optical properties
- Use Bi-directional Texture Functions (BTF) as training data for a neural network
- Scale the system to larger datasets and extend the approach to hyperspectral data
- Research relevant features and adapt the model accordingly
- Integrate the model into the production environment to enable straightforward execution and access to analysis results
Requirements
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Strong Python skills
- Solid knowledge of mathematics and linear algebra
- Proficiency in English
- Precise, responsible, and independent working style
- Experience with PyTorch and machine learning approaches
- Experience with Qt and OpenCV is an advantage
