About the role
- Committees & Governance: Planning, organizing and running meetings — including scheduling, room booking or hybrid setup, preparing documents and minutes, and consistent action tracking
- Reporting: Preparing, compiling and quality-assuring annual and interim reports as well as reviews; responsible maintenance and consistency assurance of data and KPIs
- Transfer & Acquisition: Monitoring and evaluating relevant funding instruments at federal, state and EU level; contributing to proposal and concept development; identifying and approaching potential corporate partners; systematic maintenance of the CRM database
- Strategy & Content: Conducting research on topics, trends and technologies; producing impactful presentations, dossiers and one-pagers in M365 — especially PowerPoint
- Central Office & Executive Management: Coordinating defined reports and processes toward Fraunhofer headquarters and providing occasional representation for the office management
- Processes & PMO: Advancing research-strategic and administrative processes, templates and standards
Requirements
- Completed academic degree (e.g., in economics, engineering, IT, social sciences, public administration or communications); PhD advantageous
- Several years of professional experience in a scientific or commercial environment, ideally at a research institution; preferably knowledge of foundation or non-profit law
- Experience with committee work and project management, including structuring, prioritization and professional stakeholder management
- Solid understanding of knowledge and technology transfer and experience identifying and assessing topics, funding and financing opportunities (BMBF, BMWK, EU) as well as building corporate partnerships and ecosystems
- Very good understanding of economic markets, their requirements and processes; ideally established networks in industry and academia
- Very strong M365 skills, especially PowerPoint; advantage: practical experience with Excel, SharePoint and Planner, CRM systems, and a strong affinity for AI-supported workflows
- A structured, proactive and solution-oriented personality with a confident and friendly manner and pronounced service- and team-orientation
