Tax Trainee

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Turning complex jargon into simple terms and actions for our brilliant clients
- Making sure our clients are compliant by preparing and submitting their tax returns
- Liaising with HMRC around tax returns and gaining tax reliefs
- Generating new ideas, solutions and spotting opportunities to enhance our client offering
- Keeping up to date with changes to legislation and the impact they may have on our clients
- Study for your ACA/CTA or ATT/CTA Qualification through attending college courses and on the job training.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Our minimum requirement would be a minimum of 3 A Levels or equivalent with grades BBC (with a minimum of one A Level in numerical or business-related subjects)
- Have great attention to detail, with a passion for numbers and a knack for following processes
- Possess great communication skills, can build rapport and are comfortable approaching clients
- Ask questions and deliver a brilliant client experience
- Can adapt to changing priorities and work in different teams
- Able to multitask - processing data, chasing information and prioritising your own workload
- Play all in to support the wider team
- Are excited about Tax and driven to succeed in the role and qualification
