About the role
- Negotiation of supply contracts, framework agreements and terms and conditions
- Creation of purchase orders in the ERP system and complete order processing
- Market monitoring, obtaining quotes and preparing price comparisons
- National and international supplier correspondence and support, both written and by phone, as well as supplier sourcing and selection
- Ensuring supplier availability and delivery capability
- Optimization of operational procurement processes as well as coordination and development of IT-supported ordering processes
- Management of prices, delivery and payment terms, and invoice verification in case of discrepancies
Requirements
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in technical/industrial procurement
- Relevant experience with MS Office and an ERP system
- Very good German and English language skills
- Cost-conscious and analytical mindset, commitment and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills, structured working style and assertiveness
