About the role
- Design, planning and integration of ship and propulsion automation systems
- Preparation of specifications
- Coordination with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and across disciplines (e.g. mechanical engineering)
- Close collaboration with design and manufacturing departments
- Management and supervision of our turn‑key suppliers for ship electrical/electronic systems
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering or automation engineering, completion of technician training (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in automation desirable
- Very good knowledge of E‑CAD and MS Office
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Structured and meticulous working style
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as commitment and flexibility
