About the role
- Preparation of technical documentation in compliance with all quality standards, including in the area of ILS (Integrated Logistics Support)
- Reviewing and ensuring the technical, formal and linguistic accuracy of produced texts and illustrations
- Acting as an interface with internal specialist departments as well as clients and subcontractors
- Participation in planning and scheduling meetings
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training or a technical degree; further training as a Technical Author is desirable
- Several years of experience in technical documentation as well as in the ILS field or with LSA (Life-Saving Appliances) in the maritime or military sector
- Affinity for complex technical matters
- Proven English skills, both written and spoken, including technical communication
- Strong IT affinity and very good knowledge of the MS Office suite are required
- Analytical and structured way of working
