About the role

  • Administration and further development of the Citrix VDI environment with a focus on stability and performance
  • Management of non-persistent machines (MCS/PVS) and structured, efficient rollout of images and updates
  • Administration and configuration of Citrix NetScaler (ADC/Gateway) for secure internal and external access
  • Monitoring and analysis using Citrix Director, early detection of issues and proactive measures to prevent disruptions
  • Ensuring optimal performance for graphics-intensive applications (e.g., 2D-/3D-CAD), including GPU support
  • Supporting updates and enhancements of the VDI landscape and contributing improvement ideas
  • Automating recurring tasks (for example with PowerShell scripts) to increase efficiency and stability
  • Providing 2nd- and 3rd-level support for Citrix and VDI topics and assisting end users and internal teams

Requirements

  • Completed IT training or an equivalent qualification
  • Solid knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops as well as NetScaler, Director, FSLogix, VMware vSphere and Windows environments
  • Experience with CAD applications in virtual environments and GPU-accelerated systems is an advantage
  • Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V) are desirable but not mandatory
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style, strong team skills and an interest in new technologies and personal development
