About the role

  • You handle IT requests and incidents via phone, email or ticketing system – from quick resolutions to targeted escalation to specialist teams
  • You investigate technical issues in a structured manner and document your solutions clearly and understandably
  • You take care of rollouts, setup and maintenance of PCs, laptops, smartphones and printers – including installing operating systems and standard software
  • You create new user accounts (Active Directory / Microsoft 365), assign permissions and ensure all work equipment is ready for use
  • You assist with the technical onboarding of new employees and ensure proper reclamation of IT equipment when employees leave
  • You process requests and incidents efficiently through our ticketing system and meet agreed service times
  • You create and maintain documentation, guides and internal FAQs
  • You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our ITIL-based processes
  • You participate in IT projects – e.g. in areas such as process automation, software rollouts or new services

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support / service desk – ideally in a medium-sized or larger company
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, hardware and mobile devices
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk) and ideally basic ITIL knowledge (certification is a plus)
  • Very good German skills (C1) and good English skills
  • Strong communication, solution-oriented work style and a high level of service orientation
