About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the Python backend that powers the medical real-time documentation system in production
Develop and operate live transcription of real doctor–patient conversations, including streaming audio, multiple STT providers, quality monitoring, and fallback mechanisms
Own the applied-AI core: LLM evaluation pipelines, prompt optimization, multi-provider routing, and fallback chains
Balance cost and latency trade-offs when running AI at scale
Operate a reliable multi-cloud production infrastructure for clinical use
Build greenfield projects that shape the continued development of the AI physician

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of three years of programming experience
Strong Python skills
Experience owning and delivering real systems end-to-end
High initiative and the ability to independently identify problems, propose solutions, and implement them
Interest in modern AI tools and applied AI, especially evaluation, prompting, routing, and real-time pipelines
Willingness to challenge product approaches and identify opportunities
Empathy for physicians and patients
Understanding of German at a conversational level
