About the role
- Develop and implement cloud solutions on AWS and GCP platforms
- Serve as project execution leader
- Work with architecture leaders to strategically plan and design cloud solutions
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to understand and communicate cloud architectures
- Automate cloud deployments and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terragrunt, Terraform, Python, and Ansible
- Ensure the security of the cloud environments
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within cloud infrastructure and applications
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for both performance and costs
- Perform post-incident analysis
- Provide thought leadership around industry technology trends
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven experience solving capacity challenges by utilizing dynamic scaling using containerization and/or serverless approaches
- Understand and implement various infrastructure architecture models
- Mastery of AWS Well Architected Framework principles
- Expert with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Ability to analyze systems with a high degree of detail and impact awareness
- Hands-on experience with at least 2 programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
