💰 $175,000 - $200,000 per year
About the role
- Negotiate, draft, review and advise on a variety of production, development and other commercial deals and agreements
- Manage and advise stakeholders with respect to day-to-day business and legal affairs issues
- Manage relationships with agents, managers, attorneys and other representatives in the entertainment community
- Create and maintain departmental resources and actively participate in the establishment of departmental policies
Requirements
- Active member of California bar or Registered In-House Counsel status
- Minimum of 7 years of prior legal experience
- Significant prior entertainment production and/or distribution experience
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Effective manager of others, adept at supervising, providing feedback, and mentoring junior members of the team
- Established relationships within the entertainment community
- Extensive hands-on experience with complex contracts
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
