About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As a consultant you bring your hands‑on expertise directly into projects and consistently impress the team and clients.
As a DevOps expert, you know your stuff and passionately accompany the entire development lifecycle for our clients.
You are passionate about automation and automate build, test and deploy processes without delay.
You master Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to automate infrastructure management almost effortlessly.
You keep a vigilant eye on clients’ on‑premises or cloud infrastructure and continuously optimize it.
You take care of alerting, monitoring and tracing with dedication to ensure seamless operation.
Your teamwork is particularly in demand with developers and testers in agile, cross‑functional teams working with Scrum or Kanban.
Your proactive and independent working style ensures smooth operation of the applications you help deliver.
You confidently and skillfully represent the operations perspective to development teams, product owners and other stakeholders, making a real difference.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have at least three years of experience in the DevOps area and have prior experience in operations.
You hold a degree in IT or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
You have experience with the following technologies and areas: Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Linux, Docker, Red Hat OpenShift.
You have programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash, Java).
You have strong know‑how in implementing CI/CD pipelines.
You are familiar with microservice architectures and deploying to Kubernetes.
You have a very good understanding of network infrastructures (routing, load balancing, DNS).
Experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams is a strong advantage.
You are a strong communicator, open with your colleagues and our clients, and enjoy the consulting business.
You demonstrate business‑fluent German and good English.
