About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Fòs Feminista’s policy research and evidence agenda
  • Oversee the development and execution of multi-year and annual research priorities
  • Support collaboration with Alliance partners to develop transnational technical and policy research
  • Research, write, analyse, and support the supervision of Fòs Feminista research outputs
  • Lead the dissemination of advocacy knowledge and evidence through various platforms
  • Provide technical input into the creation of knowledge products
  • Maintain and curate a centralized database of policy research resources
  • Coordinate the tracking and reporting on the reach and impact of Fòs Feminista’s policy research
  • Serve as the focal point for the Centre for Evidence-Based Advocacy
  • Support program strategic development aligned with advocacy goals
  • Supervise and provide strategic guidance to advocacy teams
  • Support donor relationship management and strategic engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Master’s degree in public health/public policy
  • minimum of 7+ years’ experience in public policy analysis
  • Demonstrated track record of working effectively with Diplomatic experience
  • Knowledge about the Multi-lateral spaces including the United Nations
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Proficiency in Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish, or other languages is highly desirable
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated and strong skills in policy analysis and independent thinking
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, manage competing demands, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Broad working knowledge of and commitment to women’s and LGBTQI+ rights, social justice, HIV and AIDS, non-discrimination, and human rights
