About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate on the development of the strategic procurement plan for each race location
- Manage a dedicated team of Race Procurement Managers
- Lead the ground game across multiple international race weekends
- Manage the end-to-end tender process for race-related work packages
- Oversee the drafting of contract documents and monitor local supplier performance
- Provide the Procurement Director with high-level updates and report on overall performance
- Ensure financial and legal interests are protected during contract execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive procurement experience, specifically managing end-to-end tender processes
- Navigating diverse international markets
- Understanding of high-pressure environments of world-class events
- Demonstrable track record of acting as a champion for sustainability within a corporate ecosystem
- Natural leader with a can-do mentality
- Passion for team development
- Coaching abilities to mentor Race Procurement Managers
- Comfort with figures, administrative proficiency, and oversight of complex procurement trackers
- Strategic mindset with the ability to build scalable, agile procurement plans
- Collaboration across legal, finance, and event teams
