About the role
- Work as part of the team to establish timelines, QA test strategy, and test plans.
- Design test cases across the full Product Lifecycle including Functional, Usability, Exploratory, and Performance testing
- Complete end to end testing of Web Applications
- Execute test scripts, record results, and perform detailed initial root cause investigation
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, he/she will report bugs and errors.
- Works directly with developers and business stakeholders
- Document and communicate quality issues
- Actively participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance phases of a project.
- Identify test conditions from project documentation and develop and document test cases and test scripts to cover those conditions.
- Understanding of the following Web technologies HTTP(S), S/FTP, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful)
Requirements
- 3+ years of working experience in software quality assurance
- Critical thinking and ability to collaborate with a team on urgent issues resolution
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Strong organization skills, excellent communications skills, and attention to details
- Knowledge and experience with the software tools and techniques used in automated testing
- Experience with e-commerce is a big plus
- An understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
