About the role

  • Conduct desktop research and analysis on various geographies as needed across a range of policy issues and sectors such as security, technology, development, and health
  • Collect and organize publicly available data to help FPA analysts conduct statistical and economic trend analyses
  • Assist with the production of rapid response briefs on breaking policy issues
  • Support the production of policy briefs, simulations, and in-depth reports
  • Provide other support as directed to the FP Analytics team

Requirements

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Graduate student in political science, international relations, economics, public policy, or other related field
  • Proven professional track record with qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Excellent English Language written abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data visualization is desired
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver projects on time
