About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft and review civil and labor pleadings (initial filings, answers/defenses, appeals, enforcement proceedings, and procedural incidents);
- Draft and review employment and corporate documents (employment contracts and corporate amendments, partners' agreements, minutes, equity quotas, and simple reorganizations);
- Conduct case law research and prepare concise legal opinions;
- Provide contractual advisory support (risk analyses, contract drafts and adjustments);
- Represent clients at civil and labor hearings (conciliation, initial labor hearings, evidentiary hearings, and judgment hearings);
- Perform external diligences when necessary and attend client meetings;
- Manage client relationships (clear, organized updates).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years' experience;
- Excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and effective deadline management;
- Familiarity with PJe/e-SAJ, EPROC, PROJUDI, and Google Docs;
- Postgraduate degree in Labor Law;
- Working knowledge of civil and labor procedures;
- Experience in litigation;
- Hands-on, collaborative, and curious profile;
- Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Civil Law;
- Preferred: Experience using legal case management systems, especially CPJ;
- Preferred: Legal/intermediate English.
