About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and cultivate relationships with RIAs, family offices, CIOs, and sophisticated wealth management firms.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and networking.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective advisor relationships.
- Convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships and ETF allocations.
- Expand the firm's presence within the evidence-based investing community.
- Educate advisors on ETF implementation, portfolio construction, tax-efficient investing, and long-term investment strategies.
- Serve as a trusted resource for advisors evaluating investment implementation decisions.
- Differentiate the firm's investment philosophy through thoughtful, consultative conversations.
- Build credibility and long-term relationships based on trust and expertise.
- Partner with leadership to refine business development strategy and market positioning.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, advisor education, and thought leadership content.
- Represent the firm at conferences, industry events, and advisor meetings.
- Provide market feedback to help shape future product positioning and growth initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in ETF distribution, asset management, wealth management, or financial advisor business development.
- Demonstrated success developing new business and cultivating advisor relationships.
- Strong understanding of ETFs, portfolio construction, investment markets, and evidence-based investing principles.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to explain complex investment concepts in a clear and practical manner.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-through and pipeline management skills.
- Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; industry licenses (Series 7, 63, 65, or CFA) are beneficial but not required.
