About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Effectively and independently manage customer service accountabilities on a book of business
- Assist producer in development of service plan for key accounts
- Manage renewal process according to agency procedures
- Negotiate most advantageous renewal terms and conditions for the client
- Complete servicing of accounts, including preparing proposals, issuing certificates
- Promptly invoice all premium-bearing transactions
- Review policies upon receipt in accordance with agency procedures
- Promptly respond to customers' questions and/or requests for assistance
- Communicate all necessary information to producers, clients, carriers, and agency team members
- Maintain the electronic account file and fully incorporate agency management system into daily workflow
- Perform quality reviews as requested by management
- Meet with and maintain effective working relationships with clients and insurance company representatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Resident Property and Casualty Agent's license
- 6 years Commercial Account Manager Experience or 4 years Commercial Account Manager Experience with a CIC or CISR designation
- Proven ability to effectively service complex accounts in excess of $15,000 in revenue
- Commitment to obtain advanced insurance education
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and all agency automation software
- Experience with Applied Epic preferred
- Proficient in department workflows and procedures
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with company employees and external contacts
