About the role

  • Design and implement robust, high-performance RDMA (IB and RoCE v2), Ethernet LAN, and WAN network architectures for global AI deployments.
  • Ensure network scalability, security, and efficiency to meet customer AI workload demands.
  • Implement network security measures and manage multi-tenant networks.
  • Optimize performance of Ethernet and InfiniBand networks.
  • Develop and collaborate on automation for ZTP, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams for seamless integration with Kubernetes and CNIs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging networking technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in network architecture and engineering.
  • Deep understanding of L1-3 network design as well as RDMA network topologies.
  • Experience with RDMA (IB and RoCE v2), Ethernet LAN, and WAN architectures.
  • Experience with network hardware (e.g., Mellanox, Arista) and Network OSes (Cumulus, SoNIC); software-defined networking experience is a plus.
  • Experience developing automation tools for ZTP, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Experience with common routing protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF).
  • Experience with encapsulation protocols (EVPN/VXLAN, Geneve).
  • Experience with Kubernetes CNIs (Calico and/or Cilium).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA are a nice to have.
