About the role
- Design, build, and deliver scalable, performant, and secure solutions that power Flashfood’s platform.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to ship new features and systems.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing systems to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to quickly iterate and deliver value to customers.
- Ensure technical solutions meet both immediate and long-term business goals.
- Lead technical design discussions and own architecture decisions for critical projects.
- Guide and mentor engineers, providing code reviews, technical feedback, and hands-on support.
- Advocate for engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, observability, and security.
- Collaborate with Engineering Leadership and Product Managers to align technical delivery and estimates with product roadmaps.
- Drive initiatives to improve developer experience and team productivity.
- Partner with leadership and product counterparts to define a unified roadmap that integrates both product and technical initiatives ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Play a key role in identifying risks and communicating while balancing trade-offs between technical debt, delivery speed, and system reliability.
- Serve as a thought leader in engineering, setting a high standard of excellence by inspiring your team and fostering cross-functional collaboration with a positive, growth-oriented mindset.
Requirements
- 7 - 10+ years experience, with recent hands-on development.
- Strong backend/API and cloud skills; proficiency with relational & NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with CI/CD, containers/Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
- Familiarity on Technologies such as Node.js, React Native, Kotlin and Swift
- Clear communication, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
