About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You take responsibility for company-wide KPI and monitoring systems that are used daily by senior management and operational stakeholders, and you actively shape the data-driven decision culture in operational logistics.
  • You stay close to the processes and work closely with various departments.
  • You take end-to-end responsibility for company-wide KPI and control frameworks, from conception through technical implementation to rollout.
  • As a business partner for Operational Logistics, you structure, analyze and visualize complex logistics data to provide robust decision-making foundations for the strategic and operational management of more than 30 logistics sites.
  • You manage stakeholders at the senior management level while acting as an operational sparring partner for on-site locations, serving as a bridge between data and operational reality.
  • You assess the impact of optimization measures, derive recommendations for action and ensure that improvements are sustainably embedded in day-to-day operations.
  • You are responsible for the quality, consistency and further development of our reporting structures and ensure transparency across all relevant KPIs.
  • You drive the development of new dashboards, automations and reporting logics and support teams in becoming more data-driven.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have already gained several years of relevant experience in the data analytics field, ideally in logistics or operations.
  • You typically hold a degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, logistics or data science.
  • You have independently designed and implemented company-wide control instruments that are used by leaders for operational and strategic decisions.
  • You are strong and highly effective in SQL, Power BI and low-code tools.
  • You stand out through good knowledge of Databricks, cloud technologies and Python, and you use AI tools selectively where they truly advance your work.
  • You can communicate complex analyses clearly and understandably—whether in a dashboard or in discussions with stakeholders.
  • You quickly recognize relationships between data and processes, develop practical solutions independently with a high standard of quality, and thereby create measurable momentum for the future of flaschenpost.
  • You speak German well and ideally bring good English skills.
