About the role
- Lead and develop the team – coach, train, and empower specialists in Regulatory Affairs and Product Sustainability
- Secure compliance – maintain systems for raw-material documentation, safety data sheets (SDS), label texts, and product registrations across all markets
- Manage voluntary and green-building schemes e.g. Ecolabel, DBNG etc.
- Sustain product sustainability data – manage LCA calculations, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and declarations for customers and databases
- Horizon scanning & communication – monitor current and upcoming EU and non-EU legislation; ensure timely communication and guidance to business units
- Support projects involving new raw materials, formulations, or process improvements to secure compliance and sustainability alignment
- Stakeholder engagement – bridge Regulatory Affairs with Product Development, Product Management, Procurement, and Commercial teams; represent Flügger in CEPE and national paint associations
Requirements
- Solid experience from Regulatory Affairs within chemicals, coatings, building materials or a related industry
- Ability to translate complex regulatory frameworks into practical, business-oriented solutions
- Collaborative approach
- Structured and analytical skills
- Fluent in English — ideally also in a Scandinavian language
