About the role

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and report any violations to management
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and laws that may impact our company
  • Train employees on compliance procedures and provide ongoing support and guidance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of our business
  • Respond to compliance-related inquiries and requests from clients and regulatory agencies
  • Participate in internal and external compliance audits and investigations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a compliance-related role
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as DOT regulations and HIPAA
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve compliance issues
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
  • Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
