About the role
- Use instrumentation to guide flights when visibility is poor.
- Start engines, operate controls, and pilot airplanes to transport passengers, mail, or freight, adhering to flight plans, regulations, and procedures.
- Work as part of a flight team with other crew members, especially during takeoffs and landings.
- Respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions.
- Inspect aircraft for defects and malfunctions, according to pre-flight checklists.
- Explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Airline Pilots, Copilots, and Flight Engineers.
Requirements
- Have **5+ years full-time work experience**
- Native-level English skills
- **U.S. residency**
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
- Availability for **at least 10 hours per week** during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).
Benefits
- Hourly pay: $95 – $230, commensurate with experience and project fit.
- Hourly rate may be higher for exceptional candidates
- Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours.
- You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
