About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer inbound customer calls regarding internet services
  • Troubleshoot internet connectivity service issues
  • Assist customers with starting, transferring, moving, or disconnecting services
  • Schedule technician appointments when necessary
  • Process billing inquiries and collect payments securely
  • Research customer accounts to identify the correct services and provide accurate resolutions
  • Document every customer interaction in the appropriate systems
  • Update customer account information as needed
  • Navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers
  • Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient customer service on every call

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1 year previous call center/technical or troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple applications and browser tabs simultaneously
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging customer interactions
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technology
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing to team success
  • Must reside in one of: Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
  • Availability for working hours between 7:00am and 7:30pm CST, Monday-Friday and rotational weekends
