About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead discipline-specific design and documentation on projects of moderate to high complexity
Develop coordinated engineering solutions from schematic design through construction documents
Direct and review work by Designers and Senior Designers
Resolve technical, coordination, and code-related challenges
Support QA/QC, value engineering, and firm standards initiatives
Participate in RFIs, submittals, punch lists, field observations, and construction meetings
Mentor junior staff and serve as a technical resource to project teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
8+ years of MEP consulting design experience
EIT required; PE preferred
Strong BIM/CAD proficiency
Advanced understanding of building systems, engineering principles, and applicable codes
Strong communication, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills
