About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute precast engineering and design tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety under various loads and conditions.
- Select materials and components for precast concrete production that meet strength, durability, and sustainability standards.
- Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications for precast projects aligned with industry design standards.
- Support cost estimation.
- Support Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Promote, utilize and support QA/QC processes to guarantee quality deliverables.
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred
- 3 - 5 years minimum of transportation/structural engineering experience
- Precast concrete design engineering course or design experience preferred
- EIT or ability to obtain it
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & RISA 3D
