About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and grow a collaborative, high-performing Infrastructure + Mobility team aligned with Fisher values, design excellence, client service, and strong project delivery outcomes.
- Provide hands-on leadership for Project Managers, supporting workload balance, professional development, accountability, engagement, and clear performance expectations.
- Oversee transportation planning and design projects, ensuring project financials, staffing, schedules, scope, quality, priorities, and client expectations are actively managed.
- Serve as a trusted client contact for public and private sector clients while supporting proposals, interviews, business planning, municipal approvals, and new work development.
- Represent Fisher in professional organizations and community activities while strengthening market visibility, team morale, sustainable growth, and long-term client relationships.
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Professional Engineering License (PE) required.
- 15+ years of transportation, roadway, or highway engineering experience, including at least 5 years of project management experience.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to use dashboards, metrics, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and data to drive accountability and results.
- Familiarity with PennDOT or PTC design standards required; proficiency in MS Office required; MicroStation experience preferred.
- Leadership, communication, client relationship, business development, collaboration, integrity, respect, active listening, sound judgment, adaptability, ownership, and continuous-improvement mindset.
