About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, create, test, and develop products
  • Collaborate with business and technical staff to move designs from concept into production
  • Deliver complete designs without clarification on design details
  • Understand industry patterns and create new patterns when needed, validated with research
  • Analyze competitor landscape and industry trends to inform product strategy and identify sustainable competitive advantages
  • Use user research, usability testing, customer support feedback, and analytics to iterate and improve the product
  • Articulate design decisions and trade-offs verbally and visually across disciplines
  • Partner closely with engineering to ensure designs are feasible and properly implemented
  • Perform duties outside normal work hours based on business needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6–8 years of directly related experience
  • Expertise with Sketch, Adobe CS, InVision, and/or other modern prototyping tools
  • Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus on long-range projects and immediate tasks
