About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, create, test, and develop products
Collaborate with business and technical staff to move designs from concept into production
Deliver complete designs without clarification on design details
Understand industry patterns and create new patterns when needed, validated with research
Analyze competitor landscape and industry trends to inform product strategy and identify sustainable competitive advantages
Use user research, usability testing, customer support feedback, and analytics to iterate and improve the product
Articulate design decisions and trade-offs verbally and visually across disciplines
Partner closely with engineering to ensure designs are feasible and properly implemented
Perform duties outside normal work hours based on business needs
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
6–8 years of directly related experience
Expertise with Sketch, Adobe CS, InVision, and/or other modern prototyping tools
Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Ability to excel in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus on long-range projects and immediate tasks
