About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and implement learning solutions and curriculum materials for instructor-led, self-paced, mobile, video, and audio-based training
  • Build commercial-quality learning content using instructional design processes including ADDIE, ARCS, and Bloom’s taxonomy
  • Perform complex needs and job analysis and communicate development requirements across the organization
  • Determine appropriate learning methods for diverse work groups
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, business sponsors, and students to ensure learning objectives are met
  • Present complex information using instructionally effective methods
  • Analyze training effectiveness and recommend adjustments
  • Track employee performance and measure training outcomes
  • Recommend training methods
  • Participate in Learning Management System administration and course maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong training project management skills, including needs analysis, scope, time estimations, and execution
  • Demonstrated critical thinking to review and analyze data
  • Proficiency in graphic, user interface, and interactive design
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Premiere, InDesign, and After Effects
  • Experience with Articulate 360, including Storyline 360, Rise, Studio 360, and Replay
  • Experience with Snagit 2018 or greater
  • Experience with Camtasia 2018 or greater
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with online graphic design applications such as Venngage and Canva
  • Knowledge of HTML, ActionScript, or application/gaming design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and balance long-range projects with immediate tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7–10 years of experience designing training for adult audiences in a professional environment
  • Information Mapping/DocuTools Certification preferred
  • Instructional design certificate from an industry-recognized organization preferred
