About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, maintain, and deliver monthly and quarterly analyses, reports, and presentations
- Ensure information accuracy, identify key points, and develop recommendations
- Perform ad hoc analyses of financial and operational data for trends and variances
- Present findings to business unit management
- Create projections for budgeting and forecasting processes using historical trends and market and business changes
- Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to management
- Manage large data sets from disparate sources for data mining, analysis, and research projects
- Develop complex financial models for what-if analysis, scenario planning, and M&A activities
- Collaborate with team members and other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- MBA preferred
- 4–7 years of experience in the field or related area
- Expert knowledge of finance, economic and accounting principles and practices
- Expert knowledge of financial markets, financial statements, valuation, and financial data analysis and reporting
- Ability to understand, manipulate, and solve problems using mathematics on large data sets
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Proficiency with Oracle and Hyperion preferred
- Complex problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and accomplish work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Judgment and decision-making skills
- Solid understanding of standard business concepts, practices, and procedures
