About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, Schedule and Manage inbound, outbound and 3rd Party shipments
Receives items into inventory system
Record shortages and back ordered items
Ability to adapt, work under pressure
Knowledge of all transportation modes, routing, and transportation regulations (with a strong focus on trucking, specialty equipment and oversized loads)
Knowledge of International freight regulations
Communication with carriers, relationship building
Supports Corporate procurement
Supports Engineering by tracking accurate, timely receipt of orders
Ability to prioritize tasks
Process shipment requests and troubleshoot exceptions as needed
Ability to properly pack fragile and special sized items

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of logistics related experience
BA, BS or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain
Project Management and problem-solving skills
Basic Math Skills
Time management skills, ability to determine priorities and complete tasks on schedule
Software operation and data entry skills with accuracy
MS Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook)
Possess a valid Real ID driver license, clean driving record
Ability to pass Air Force background check
Physical stamina to perform regular duties, including Lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds
Stand for periods of time
Crouch, bend, and reach
