About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide analysis critical to proactive regulatory risk assessment and the development of regulatory strategy
Work closely with senior staff to conduct continuous qualitative research into market conditions and developments
Develop and deliver reports on regulatory issues and trends for senior management
Assess and analyze issues for senior leadership
Support development of Surveillance environmental SWOT analysis
Collaborate with the senior management team on SEC oversight inspections
Develop presentations and reports for the board and Management Committee
Prepare for and respond to significant market events
Participate in Surveillance’s engagement with Enterprise Risk Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in securities, compliance or financial regulation
Proven record of creating and providing reporting using metrics, analysis, and data analytics
Strong collaborator and team builder
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills
Proven record of project management, process improvement and goal attainment skills
