About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide analysis critical to proactive regulatory risk assessment and the development of regulatory strategy
  • Work closely with senior staff to conduct continuous qualitative research into market conditions and developments
  • Develop and deliver reports on regulatory issues and trends for senior management
  • Assess and analyze issues for senior leadership
  • Support development of Surveillance environmental SWOT analysis
  • Collaborate with the senior management team on SEC oversight inspections
  • Develop presentations and reports for the board and Management Committee
  • Prepare for and respond to significant market events
  • Participate in Surveillance’s engagement with Enterprise Risk Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in securities, compliance or financial regulation
  • Proven record of creating and providing reporting using metrics, analysis, and data analytics
  • Strong collaborator and team builder
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Proven record of project management, process improvement and goal attainment skills
