About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the manager with project tasks and day-to-day operations
  • Advise national and international companies on accounting matters
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and support audits and due diligence processes
  • Support special business projects, e.g., implementing new accounting standards (IFRS, HGB)
  • Independently analyze and optimize accounting processes, taking regulatory requirements into account
  • Lead and steer assigned project topics and perform (partial) project management with a focus on planning, progress tracking and budget control
  • Provide subject-matter support in mentoring our Junior Consultants and working students (student interns) on individual projects and assign them work packages

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in economics, business administration or a comparable field with a focus on Accounting/Finance
  • 3 years of professional experience in financial or management consulting or in a comparable accounting role
  • Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
  • Initial knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) is an advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP FI/CO or other relevant software solutions is a plus
  • Analytical and strategic mindset as well as strong problem-solving skills
  • You convince our clients and colleagues through your solution-oriented, independent, structured and team-oriented way of working
  • Native-level German and good written and spoken English
