About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are an integral member of the Engineering team and jointly responsible for the development and operation of our trading platform finanzen.net zero.
Work as part of an agile team with interfaces primarily to the internal departments Product, UX, Marketing, Support and Business.
Develop our platform together with the team: we rely on Java, MySQL and TypeScript in a cloud-based environment (AWS).
Further development of key app features such as the instrument page, search, watchlist and savings plans.
Ensure stable and high-performance operation following the principle "You build it, you run it" and support the business unit for 3rd-level support requests.
You constantly monitor our systems and our operational dashboards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science (e.g., business or media informatics) or a comparable qualification/experience
Several years of experience in cloud-based (preferably AWS) operation and development of web applications using Java and MySQL
Good knowledge of TypeScript
Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
Interest in and enthusiasm for the stock market
Methodical experience with agile processes such as SCRUM / Kanban, as well as experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
Analytical thinking as well as strategic and process-oriented thinking and acting
Initiative, communication and receptiveness to feedback
Fluent German language skills, spoken and written (min. C1)
