About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive practical R&D initiatives in GenAI, focusing on real-world use cases and measurable impact.
- Build and ship full-stack features across FastAPI, Angular, and AWS, owning the process from commit to production.
- Lead technical decisions, drive architecture discussions, and guide other engineers through code reviews and system design.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proactive in leveraging GenAI tools to improve development workflows with real impact (not the LinkedIn hype).
- Strong interest in finance, markets, or investing (e.g. equities, ETFs), with willingness to build domain expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with 5+ years of experience shipping production software.
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (ideally AWS).
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly explain concepts/decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A strong sense of ownership, demonstrating initiative, independence, and the ability to carry work from problem to solution.
- Nice to Have: Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with the Angular frontend framework.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
