About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the further development and operation of our broker finanzen.net zero
- Work as part of an agile team with interfaces to internal departments, IT, Marketing, Support and Business
- Develop the platform: Java and Spring Boot in a cloud-based environment (AWS)
- Ownership of the platform; primary point of contact for business units for 3rd-level support requests
- Monitor and manage end-of-day processing from the banking system and the processing of customers' securities orders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science (e.g. Business or Media Informatics) or comparable qualification/experience
- Several years of experience developing and operating cloud-based (preferably AWS) backend applications with Java, Spring Boot and REST
- Solid knowledge of trading, brokerage and banking environments – ideally with experience in securities settlement, order management and end-of-day processing
- Experience working with AI tools
- Knowledge of MySQL or similar relational, transactional databases
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
- Methodical experience with agile processes such as SCRUM/Kanban
- Analytical thinking with a strategic, process-oriented approach
- Fluent German language skills, written and spoken, at least C1
