About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop the accounting team
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
- Lead the annual financial statement audit and coordinate with external auditors
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and automate processes
- Establish and maintain a strong internal control framework
- Continuously evaluate reporting workflows for efficiency and improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certification: CPA strongly preferred
- 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing accounting teams
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or technology firms is a plus
- Strong technology skills, including prior NetSuite experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and has a strong sense of ownership.
