Key responsibilities & impact

Provide in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast future performance.
Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads.
Perform variance analysis to compare actual results against budget and forecast.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability and cost analysis.
Evaluate potential investments, providing financial due diligence.
Identify and implement process improvements in FP&A activities.
Develop and present strategic financial recommendations to senior management.
Lead the financial evaluation of significant strategic initiatives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners.
Drive the development and implementation of advanced financial reporting and analysis tools.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
Experience in the financial services or technology industry is a plus.
Expert proficiency in financial modeling techniques and best practices.
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, macros, and data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Experience with budgeting and forecasting software.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong ownership and accountability for assigned work.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
Effective time management and task prioritization.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively and mentor junior team members.
Ability to actively listen to customers and accurately understand their needs, expectations, and challenges.
Adaptability and learning agility in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
