About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the planning and delivery of travel services for FIFA tournaments, events, workshops, and business operations worldwide
  • Manage end-to-end travel projects, including booking strategies, group travel arrangements, charter operations, accommodation, and ground transportation
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and collaborate with FIFA departments, Local Organizing Committees, and external partners across multiple countries
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other travel suppliers
  • Develop and optimize travel processes, systems, and operational procedures
  • Manage event budgets and support financial administration, reporting, and reconciliation activities
  • Provide guidance on travel logistics, visa and immigration requirements, and international entry regulations
  • Deliver travel solutions and service experiences while ensuring seamless operations and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Contribute to travel technology initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Support tournament and event operations through on-site presence, standby support, and operational readiness when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in corporate travel, travel operations, event management, or a related international environment
  • Strong expertise in group travel, air travel management, ticketing, and supplier coordination
  • Advanced knowledge of GDS systems, ideally Amadeus, fare rules, and ticketing processes
  • Experience managing projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and delivering complex operational activities
  • Commercial awareness and budgeting experience
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach to work
  • Proactive, service-driven mindset and ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • French, Spanish, Portuguese, or German considered an asset
