About the role

  • Perform format and gap analyses of existing systems
  • Take ownership of converter development
  • Ensure daily maintenance and ongoing development of legacy applications
  • Analyze and improve existing Delphi codebases to support current projects
  • Provide technical support to internal teams handling client requests (no direct contact with end customers)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and implementation, and quality assurance practices (unit testing, automated testing, TDD)
  • Extensive experience with Delphi (at least 2 years)
  • Willingness to work with Delphi and legacy applications
  • Experience writing technical specifications and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and/or English
