About the role

  • Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is a world-famous brand with offices across the globe.
  • IT Security Analyst to join Global IT Security team based in Ensenada, Mexico, responsible for maintaining the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of Fender’s systems and services.
  • Position can work remote, hybrid, or on-site in the Ensenada facility.
  • Monitor systems for security threats and investigate incidents.
  • Lead and contribute to Fender’s security projects and programs.
  • Maintain existing security platforms and identify areas for improvement.
  • Audit identity and access control policies to ensure compliance.
  • Provide security guidance to staff.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in Information/Cyber Security.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Experience in identifying and responding to all types of cyber threats within SOC environment.
  • Experience in maintaining endpoint security, IAM, SIEM, and email security platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Experience in maintaining patch and vulnerability management programs and their toolsets.
  • Experience of auditing identity access and control within systems and services.
  • Understanding of networking technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with hardening Windows/Mac/Linux systems and ensuring compliance with recognized standards such as CIS.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong Analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging threats and technologies.
  • Team-oriented with strong customer service focus and willingness to work flexible hours where required to support projects or initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure.
  • Desirable: Security certifications (Security+, CEH, CySA, etc.).
  • Desirable: Programming/Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell).
  • Desirable: Penetration testing experience against websites and services.
