About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide creative design and branding services that support our mission of connecting every person facing hunger with nutritious meals.
Develop compelling visual assets that support fundraising, community engagement, marketing, programs, and events.
Manage design projects from concept through final production.
Create print and digital marketing materials, signage, collateral, advertisements, reports, and presentation decks.
Maintain consistency with Feeding San Diego's established brand guidelines.
Prepare files for digital distribution and print production.
Coordinate with vendors and ensure final deliverables meet project specifications and timelines.
Participate in project planning discussions and provide creative solutions that support organizational goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two or more years of professional graphic design experience.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, visual communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and print production.
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience developing creative solutions for nonprofit, mission-driven, or community-focused organizations is preferred.
