About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and drive the DevOps strategy for the Sportsbook Back-End scope
  • Ensure the robustness and efficiency of CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and evolve build, test, and deployment pipelines
  • Standardize practices and quality gates
  • Automate recurring tasks to improve service quality and reduce manual operations
  • Improve system observability through monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics
  • Support management of major incidents and contribute to continuous improvement of platform stability
  • Optimize rollback, traceability, and release hardening processes
  • Drive the DevOps roadmap and coordinate dependencies with Engineering teams
  • Promote best practices in DevOps, Cloud, and Run
  • Provide technical leadership to DevOps engineers and contribute to their skills development
  • Reduce friction between build, test, release, and run to improve overall delivery efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with Back-End, QA, SRE/Ops, Security, Architecture, and Release Management teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Fluent English required for daily collaboration with international teams
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Release Engineering roles
  • Strong mastery of CI/CD practices, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and automation
  • Significant experience with Cloud environments and distributed platforms
  • Expertise in observability, monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, and production environment management
  • Good understanding of application security concerns and deployment hardening
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle and associated operational risks
  • Ability to arbitrate between technical standardization and product needs
  • Experience in high-availability, critical environments is a plus
  • Experience with international platforms and high-frequency deployments is a plus
  • Awareness of performance and resilience challenges on high-load systems is a plus
