About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Malware analysis;
Triage, analysis and handling/remediation of cybersecurity incidents;
Monitoring, triage and analysis of potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities;
Conducting security audits within the context of the RCTS;
Producing security alerts and recommendations;
Designing monitoring solutions and proactive incident response mechanisms;
Applying and using Artificial Intelligence solutions for automated processing and for defensive and offensive cybersecurity purposes;
Maintaining the servers that support the RCTS CERT tools;
Keeping up with best practices from international counterparts and participating in cybersecurity exercises and working groups.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field;
Experience in malware analysis;
Programming/scripting in multiple languages;
Good command of Portuguese and English (spoken and written);
Availability to travel domestically and internationally representing the RCTS CSIRT.

Experience administering Internet services such as DNS, SMTP, HTTP;
Knowledge of virtualization systems;
Communication skills and experience delivering presentations in public.
