About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define modeling standards (conceptual/logical/physical) and governance (metadata, MDM, lineage);
Ensure consistent integration between systems and repositories, including data contracts and interoperability principles;
Establish quality, integrity and security policies; support compliance audits in coordination with GRC/DPO and GDPR;
Support BI/Analytics/Reporting with semantic models and layers;
Coordinate and oversee teams and projects;
Document and maintain data catalogs, glossaries and data dictionaries; promote consistent taxonomies;
Propose improvements and automation for pipelines (ETL/ELT, orchestration) and validate compliance with standards;
Monitor trends in data management, BI and AI and update standards;
Ensure GDPR compliance in data architecture, governance and use of data;
Analyze, process and interpret data.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields;
Experience in data and enterprise architecture;
Strong ability to analyze functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, resilience);
Experience in systems integration and in defining standards for data pipelines (ETL/ELT);
Proficiency in SQL (analysis, validation, optimization and model review);
Experience in Data Quality Management (rules, metrics, monitoring);
Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe valued).

Other valued skills and knowledge
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and cloud-native principles;
Certifications in data, analytics and machine learning (e.g.: DP-100, PL-300, AWS ML Specialty);
Advanced SQL skills for analysis, validation, optimization and review of data models;
BI and analytics with focus on modeling and support for reporting/dashboards;
Applied knowledge of GDPR (architecture, governance and data usage);
Knowledge of Data Quality Management: defining rules and quality metrics;
Training/Certification: Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst).
