About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React, Next.js, and Express
Own architectural decisions and articulate the reasoning and tradeoffs behind them
Integrate AI and LLM-powered features into production applications with attention to reliability and user impact
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to shape technical requirements
Diagnose and resolve complex bugs across the full stack
Champion engineering best practices and help define team workflows
Mentor engineers and conduct thorough code reviews
Work with customer feedback to shape product experiences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong proficiency with React.js and Next.js on the frontend
Solid Node.js and Express.js experience on the backend
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, or similar)
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working within a microservices architecture
Comfort with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices
Active use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) as part of your day-to-day workflow
A track record of making and defending architectural decisions, not just implementing them
Clear communication skills; you can translate technical tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholder
Experience building or integrating LLM-powered features in production (RAG pipelines, agent workflows, evaluation frameworks) — nice to have
Familiarity with sports tech, real-time data pipelines, or performance-sensitive consumer applications — nice to have
Experience with infrastructure-as-code or deployment automation — nice to have
